exquisite

we can savor the pain as well as the pleasure.  this is what i think that s & m play teaches us/allows us to see.  the orgasm is referred to the little death for a reason.

exquisite.

if right now my muscles are tense, my mood is grumpy, the air is smoggy and icky, and aza is shrieking for no goddamn reason i can fathom.  i can savor that pain.  i dont have to hang on to it.  i dont have to push it away.  i dont have to do a damn thing.  but savor it.

savoring is a chosen response to the moment.

not by ignoring the negative, the pain.  but knowing that this too is life.
